Eye Stye Treatment!
Eye Stye Treatment that Can Put an End to Your Woes
Stye is a
kind of an infection and inflammation of the eyelids. It occurs due to
the bacteria
named staphylococcus aurous. This is a common
infection
that is caused by blocked glands within the eyelid. When the glands get
blocked the oil produced by these glands sometimes extrudes through the
wall of the gland and forms a red, painful lump. The opportunistic
bacteria easily infect the blocked gland, thereby causing increased
pain, inflammation and redness of the eye. Squeezing a stye is a
reckless way of getting rid of it. Instead of bringing relief it may
actually add to your discomfort by spreading the infection to other
parts. It is better to discontinue the use of eye makeup, eye lotions
and creams because they can be infected.
Most styes wither away on their own within 5-7 days Eye stye treatment can be done at home also in the following simple ways:
- You can apply a warm compress 4-6 times in a day till around 15 minutes at a time. A warm compress is a universal remedy for stye. It helps the stye to come to a head or get ripened. Once this happens, the infectious pus oozes out. After this the stye eventually withers away.
